What we collect
If you use this website we may collect your name, business name, email address, phone number and anything else you choose to tell us. Our hosting also records standard technical information such as IP address and browser type, and we use website analytics to count visits and see which pages are read.
If you open a client account, we collect the information needed to quote and carry out your work — contact and company details, ABN, your drawings and specifications, order and payment information, and the records of the jobs we do for you.
Why we collect it
To quote, carry out, inspect, invoice and deliver your work, to manage your account, to keep the job and traceability records our customers and their auditors need, and to meet our legal obligations. We do not sell personal information.
Your drawings
Drawings, models and samples you send us are commercially sensitive. We use them only to quote and to make your parts. We do not show them to other customers and we do not use them to make parts for anyone else.
Who else sees it
Only where it is needed to run the business or to get a job done: our hosting, email and software providers; the provider of our client portal; subcontractors and suppliers carrying out part of your work; our professional advisers; and anyone we are required to disclose to by law. Some of these providers store or process information outside Australia.

Keeping it, and keeping it safe
We keep quotes, job records and drawings for as long as we need them to serve you and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations — generally at least seven years. We take reasonable steps to protect information from loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
Access, correction and complaints
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask for a copy, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. Email [email protected] or phone 03 9034 6491 and we will respond within a reasonable time.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a privacy matter, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
Client accounts
If you hold an account in our client portal, the privacy and information-handling clauses in our Conditions of Trade — which you accept when you create the account — also apply, and those clauses prevail over this policy for anything to do with your account.

We update this policy from time to time. The current version is always the one published on this page.
